Naturactive Tea Tree Organic Essential Oil, in its practical 10ml format, is a true wonder of nature, encapsulated in every drop. Its biochemical composition, rich in monoterpenes such as gamma-terpinene and alpha-terpinene, as well as monoterpenols such as terpinen-4-ol, gives it remarkable antibacterial and antifungal properties. Terpinen-4-ol, in particular, is renowned for its powerful anti-infection action, effectively destroying bacteria by disrupting their cell membranes. This characteristic makes Tea Tree essential oil particularly effective against a variety of common pathogens, such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and various fungi responsible for mycoses, such as the Candida genus. What's more, its ability to inhibit the growth of these micro-organisms without harming the body's beneficial commensal flora makes it all the more valuable for maintaining a healthy balance.
Beyond its antimicrobial properties, Naturactive Tea Tree essential oil is also a genuine tonic for overall well-being. It acts as an immune stimulant by modifying the production of inflammatory mediators and promoting the expression of the CD11b receptor, thereby strengthening the body's immune response. Its invigorating effect extends to physical vitality, helping to revitalize body and mind, and to heart health, supporting cardiovascular function. In addition, its use in preventing radiodermatitis highlights its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, offering skin protection during intensive medical treatments. This aspect is particularly relevant for patients undergoing radiotherapy treatments, providing a natural means of reducing cutaneous side effects.
Naturactive Tea Tree essential oil is also used in cosmetics, thanks to its purifying and toning properties. In cosmetics, it is used for its beneficial effects on the skin and scalp. It is particularly effective in treating problem skin, such as acne, by regulating sebum production and disinfecting the skin. This not only treats existing imperfections, but also prevents their appearance. In intimate cleansing products, it helps maintain a favorable microbiological balance, thanks to its antiseptic properties. Tea Tree essential oil is also an ingredient of choice in natural deodorants, where it prevents unpleasant body odours thanks to its antibacterial action. Finally, in hair care, it is effective for toning the scalp and regulating sebum production, making hair less greasy and healthier.

Tea Tree essential oil is most commonly used topically. It can also be used for atmospheric diffusion to benefit from its antiseptic effects. However, it is crucial that a health professional supervises any ingestion of this oil, as the doses tolerated orally before reaching an epileptogenic threshold are relatively low.
For the treatment of pimples, sores or acne, we recommend applying Tea Tree oil directly to the affected area with a cotton bud. For areas larger than a single pimple, a 20% dilution of the oil is recommended.
For fungal infections, whether skin, vaginal, nail or other skin infections, local application of a dilute solution of Tea Tree essential oil in a vegetable oil is an effective method. This solution should be applied directly to the infected area.
To prevent undesirable skin effects during radiotherapy sessions, we recommend applying one drop of Tea Tree essential oil and one drop of Niaouli essential oil to the irradiated area. This application should be made one to two hours before and after each treatment session.
