How to use Tea Tree essential oil for skin problems?

  • Oily skin: dilute in your day cream. 1 to 2 drops in a hazelnut-sized amount of cream.
  • Skin problems (acne, eczema, pruritus, mycosis) : dilute in a vegetable oil. 5% for face, 20% for body. Can be applied undiluted, except on sensitive skin.
  • Herpes: apply one drop undiluted, except on sensitive skin (in which case, dilute one drop in a teaspoon of vegetable oil) directly on the pimple.
  • Gingivitis : dilute 1-2 drops in toothpaste or use as a mouthwash.
  • Insect bites: dilute in vegetable oil. 1 drop in a teaspoon (or pure if skin is not too sensitive).
