Description Tegaderm Foam Adhesive Dressing hydrocellular No 10x10cm

Tegaderm Foam Adhesive Dressing hydrocellular No 10x10cm is sterile and very absorbent. Suitably it its semi-permeability according to the amount of wound exudate. Guarantee an adequate moisture level at the wound when the wound is not exudative and increases exudate management capacity in order to prevent maceration in a heavily exudative wounds. Completely non-adhesive foam for full respect of granulation tissue and surrounding skin. Impervious to liquids (sweat, urine, showers) and exogenous contaminants (bacteria, viruses (1)), but enabling gas exchange with an excellent gas permeability and water vapor. Polyurethane Film Tegaderm Film contour, completely isolating the wound and reducing the risk of leakage for a period of optimal use and excellent support of the dressing. Flexible, easily adapts to anatomical relief. Positioning facilitated by paving frame. Residue-free removal without douleure.

(1) In vitro tests showed that the film intact and in the absence of leakage, acted as a barrier to the virus of 27 nm in diameter, such as HCV, or larger, such as HBV and HIV.

Non-adhesive polyurethane foam. Layer non-woven super absorbent fibers. Reactive layer, called "intelligent", optimizing the management of exudates. Polyurethane Film Tegaderm Film. Adhesive: Pressure-sensitive hypoallergenic acrylate copolymer. Tegaderm Foam Adhesive contains no latex or phthalates or rosin.
