Si Silicon PostOp Post-Operative Dressing is a sterile adhesive dressing formulated with a non-woven fabric backing with a high skin tolerance hypoallergenic adhesive and a central absorbent pad.
Thanks to its fully formulated silicone adhesive backing, it guarantees easy and painless removal.
The non-woven fabric that forms the backing makes the dressing suitable for use on joint areas and moving parts.
This dressing has been designed with rounded corners to reduce the risk of any accidental detachment.
Very gentle on removal, it leaves no glue residue on the skin .
The central pad protects all types of wounds and absorbs different levels of exudate.
The part in contact with the wound is made of an anti-adherent mesh which reduces adhesion on the injured part.
This dressing is protected by silicone paper which is easily removed before use.
It has the advantage of being radiolucent, i.e. it is not visible to X-rays.
Available in different sizes, this dressing is packaged in an easy-open sachet.
It is sterilized with ethylene oxide.
Its bacterial load before sterilization is <100 cfu/g.
