For open wounds, make sure that the central compress completely covers the lesion, with a 1 to 2 cm overhang onto healthy skin. Clean the wound according to standard protocols, then thoroughly dry the periwound skin.
Remove the first protective sheet and gently apply the adherent side to the wound. Then remove the second sheet and smooth the edges without stretching them.
