The essential oil of lemon verbena has sedative properties, antidepressant, slightly analgesic and anti-neuralgic. It is also spasmolytic and antihistamine (inhibition of histamine release). It is also an anti-inflammatory oil, digestive and anti-Helicobacter pylori.
