What is Arkocaps Cranberryne 600 mg Berry used for?
Arkocaps Cranberryne consist of Cranberry.
Cranberry is a small red berry that grows in the swampy soils of "New England" and the North East Coast of the United States.
Native Americans called it "Imbi" or "Atoka" and used it for its therapeutic virtues. In 1923, American doctors were already using Cranberry in recurrences of urinary tract infections.
The standardized cranberry extract present in this food supplement contains proanthocyanidins (PAC) which are compounds with indirect action, as they inhibit the ability of pathogens to adhere to intestinal epithelial cells and to proliferate there. The possibility of migration of microbes residing in the intestine into the urogenital system is then reduced, thus making it possible to prevent “mechanically” any future recurrences.
Cranberry contains:
- Hippuric Acid
- proanthocyanidins.
These 2 acids change the chemical composition of urine which prevents the adhesion of bacteria, in particular Escherichia Coli, to the walls of the urinary tract.
