Scots Pine essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the needles. Its properties include purifying the lungs and clearing the respiratory tract. It has therefore long been traditionally used as a valuable ally for respiratory problems. Invigorating, with its forest scent, it will restore your energy and dynamism.

LCA Scots Pine essential oil has many virtues, such as:

  • Expectorant, mucolytic: acts as a decongestant on the respiratory tract. It contains alpha pinene, a molecule that stimulates mucin glands. It also has a balsamic action (prevents inflammation of respiratory mucous membranes) and respiratory antiseptic action (stops the development of pathogenic germs in the respiratory tract).
  • Tonic, stimulant, neurotonic, hypertensive: Scots Pine essential oil stimulates oragnism, and is considered "the greatest physical tonic". The cortison-like activity of alpha pinene (40% concentrated) is involved in this phenomenon.
  • Osteo-articular anti-inflammatory

Thanks to its alpha pinene content, it stimulates mucin glands, liquefying secretions and promoting their expulsion to clear the respiratory tract. It also has respiratory antiseptic properties, helping to inhibit the growth of pathogenic germs in the respiratory tract. Scots Pine essential oil is recognized for its tonic action on the body. Thanks to its alpha pinene cortison-like activity, it stimulates the nervous system and acts as a powerful physical tonic, promoting vitality and dynamism.
