Permethrin is a synthetic acaricide and insecticide belonging to the pyrethroid family, which acts as a powerful contact poison.

It targets the nervous system of insects and arachnids, causing intense agitation in the parasite, which eventually dies. Permethrin’s remarkable effectiveness as an insecticide and acaricide is immediately evident against sand flies, fleas, and ticks. In addition, it has a persistent insecticidal and acaricidal effect on these three species, as well as a repellent effect on sand flies. How should this antiparasitic treatment be used?

• When using the product for the first time, press firmly on the pump trigger to break the seal. Unscrew the base of the pump by turning it between half a turn and a full turn. It is essential to apply the product to a clean, dry coat.
• Treat the entire body thoroughly, ensuring the product is distributed evenly. Spray the product generously onto the animal, working against the direction of the hair, to ensure the coat is fully moistened and the product penetrates optimally down to the skin, while protecting the animal’s eyes.
• It is essential not to wipe or rinse the animal after application; instead, allow the coat to dry naturally or use a hot-air blower. Finally, brush and comb the coat to complete the treatment.

Dogs weighing 3 to 9 kg: 0.5 g of permethrin, or 10 sprays.
Dogs weighing 9 to 20 kg: 1 g of permethrin, or 20 sprays.

Dogs over 30 kg: 2 g of permethrin, or 40 sprays.
