This EO, which contains over 200 aromatic compounds, is widely used in perfumery: its strong, sweet scent, rich in olfactory qualities, and its skin care properties make it a natural choice for many creams and beauty products. Its main constituents (citronnellol and geraniol) are the same as those of Rose EO, but it lacks the exceptional finesse and delicacy. Note that the scent of Geranium EO varies greatly according to origin, with those from China and Reunion being the most appreciated.
