What is Pranarom Chinese Cinnamon Essential Oil 10 ml used for?

Native to southwestern China, this evergreen tree has simple, entire, spirally arranged, leathery leaves and thick, rough bark. The inflorescences are highly branched clusters of whitish, symmetrical flowers with six petals.
The fruit is a berry resembling that of the noble laurel. It thrives in rainy conditions, high temperatures, and rich, light soil.

G. Capus said of this Lauraceae species: “There is no Chinese doctor’s prescription without cinnamon.” Indeed, its versatile antiseptic, anti-infective, and antibacterial properties—with a very broad spectrum of action and extremely potent effects—destroy 98% of pathogenic bacteria, including Gram-positive cocci and Gram-negative bacilli. It is also a powerful tonic for the sympathetic nervous system and a general stimulant with aphrodisiac properties.

Chinese cinnamonessential oil possesses broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties against Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus), Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Proteus vulgaris, antibiotic-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Vibrio cholerae, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, and Salmonella typhimurium). It is antifungal against fungi and yeasts (Candida albicans, C. tropicalis, C. glabrata, C. krusei, Aspergillus spp., Fusarium sp.) as well as dermatophytes (Microsporum gypseum, Trichophyton rubrum, T. mentagrophytes).

This essential oil inhibits the growth of Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella Typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus, and Listeria monocytogenes. It is also an antiviral and an immune stimulant. It has parasiticidal, acaricidal, antifungal, emmenagogue, and aphrodisiac properties. It is also a nervous system stimulant, a hyperemic agent, an antiplatelet agent, and a blood thinner.

The reputation of Chinese cinnamon in traditional Chinese medicine is undeniable, as evidenced by G. Capus’s statement that “there is no prescription without cinnamon.” Its versatile antiseptic properties and its broad-spectrum anti-infective and antibacterial action make this essential oil a powerful ally for health. It destroys up to 98% of pathogenic bacteria, including Gram-positive cocci and Gram-negative bacilli.

Chinese cinnamon essential oil possesses remarkable antimicrobial properties. It is effective against a wide range of germs, including Staphylococcus aureus (Gram+), Escherichia coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Proteus vulgaris, antibiotic-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Vibrio cholerae, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, and Salmonella typhimurium (Gram-negative). In addition, it is effective against fungi, yeasts, and dermatophytes such as Candida albicans, Aspergillus spp., Fusarium sp., Microsporum gypseum, Trichophyton rubrum, and T. mentagrophytes.

In addition to its antibacterial and antifungal properties, this essential oil is also antiviral and stimulates the immune system. It inhibits the growth of bacteria such as Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella Typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus, and Listeria monocytogenes, thereby providing additional protection against viral and bacterial infections.

In addition to its antimicrobial effects, this essential oil also acts as a parasiticide, acaricide, antifungal, emmenagogue, and aphrodisiac. It stimulates the nervous system, promotes blood circulation by acting as a hyperemic agent and an antiplatelet, and helps thin the blood.
