What is Ravintsara essential oil (Cinnamomum camphora CT CINEOLE) Pranarom used for?

Native to Madagascar and also known as Cinnamomum camphora CT cinéole, Ravintsara grows wild in tropical rainforests and can reach 15 meters in height. Its leaves are oval, alternate, leathery and broad, evergreen and shiny on the upper surface, reminding us that it belongs to the Lauraceae family. It flowers from November to January, producing a distinctive berry.

Traditionally reputed for its : - antiviral and immune stimulant - antibacterial - anticatarrhal, expectorant - neurotonic (powerful energizer).

Ravintsara essential oil has a wide range of pharmacological properties, making it a versatile natural remedy for many ailments. Here are the main properties of this essential oil:

Oral route: 2 drops CTEO, 3 times a day, in synergy with niaouli or eucalyptus radiata, in honey, olive oil or on cane sugar, under the tongue. Cutaneous: 5 drops CTEO, 3 times a day, massaged on either side of the spine or on the thorax.

Daily use: 6 drops applied locally to the arch of the foot or the chest, morning and evening, to boost your immune system.

Keep out of reach of young children - This product is not a substitute for a balanced diet - Do not exceed the recommended dose - Unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist, do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and for children under 3 - Store away from heat and light.
