This certified organic essential oil offers a wide range of therapeutic applications thanks to its remarkable pharmacological properties.

Marjoram essential oil, also known by its botanical name Origanum majorana, is obtained from the aerial parts of the plant through a steam distillation process. This essential oil has the warm, herbaceous fragrance characteristic of Marjoram, making it a valuable ingredient in aromatherapy and natural cosmetics.

Marjoram essential oil is rich in bioactive compounds that give it its therapeutic properties. Its main chemical constituents include cis-thujanol-4, trans-thujanol-4, linalool, terpinen-4-ol and gamma-terpinene. These compounds contribute to its beneficial effects on health and well-being.

How to use this essential oil

Calming action on the nervous and cardiovascular systems, such as hypertension, palpitations or extra-systoles; mix 5% marjoram essential oil ct thujanol inwheat germ vegetable oil. Apply this mixture to the solar plexus, soles of the feet and along the spine.

Adults: 2 drops, 3 times a day on a PHYTOSUN arôms neutral tablet.
Children over 7: 1 drop, 3 times a day on a PHYTOSUN arôms neutral tablet.
For all other uses, ask your pharmacist for advice.

Precautions for use of marjoram essential oil Bio

  • Not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women.
  • Do not use undiluted (dermocaustic), always dilute.
  • Do not diffuse

  • Keep out of reach of young children.
  • Not to be used by children under 7 years of age without medical advice.

  • Never take undiluted by mouth. Never take more than 2 drops per dose, nor more than 8 drops per day of Essential Oil(s).
  • Do not use for prolonged periods (14 days maximum).
  • Store in a well-stoppered bottle away from light and heat.
