Ravintsara, a tree native to Madagascar, is renowned for its leaves, which are rich in beneficial properties. The essential oil extracted is a true concentrate of well-being. Antiviral and immunostimulant, it is particularly recommended during the cold season to reinforce the body's natural defenses. Its expectorant properties also make it an excellent ally for clearing the respiratory tract.

Ravintsara comes from theisland of Madagascar and is a large tree (15 meters) that grows wild there. It belongs to the Laurel family, and its camphor- and cineole-rich leaves are used to produce essential oil. They are oval, alternate, leathery and broad, evergreen and shiny on the upper surface, reminding us that it belongs to the Lauraceae family. Flowering takes place from November to January and produces a highly characteristic berry.

How to use this essential oil

Incorporate Ravintsara Organic Essential Oil into your daily routine to enjoy its multiple benefits. When diffused, it purifies the air and brings a sensation of invigorating freshness. When diluted and applied to the chest or back, it helps clear the respiratory tract. You can also use it as an inhalation for a rapid, effective effect.

  • Internal use: 3 times a day, mix 2 drops of RAVINTSARA organic essential oil CTEO with honey or olive oil on a sugar cube or under the tongue. You can also combine it with Niaouli or Eucalyptus Radiata essential oils to intensify the effect.
  • External use: massage 5 drops of RAVINTSARA bio H.E.C.T. essential oil, 3 times a day, on either side of the spine or on the chest.
  • Daily: to boost your immune system: 6 drops applied locally to the arch of the foot or the chest, morning and evening.
