MAGNEVie B6 MAGNESIUM 60 Tablets SANOFI

  • Vitamin B6 or pyridoxine is a non-caloric organic substance, essential for our metabolism and not produced by our body. It is soluble in water (water-soluble) and therefore is rapidly eliminated in the urine. Daily consumption of these water-soluble vitamins is therefore necessary to maintain the amount necessary for the proper functioning of the body. It comes in three different chemical forms with the same activities: pyridoxine, pyridoxamine and pyridoxal.
  • Magnesium plays an important role in protein synthesis, transmission of nerve impulses, muscle contraction. It also has a sort of regulatory effect on intestinal transit, but since it acts as a catalyst in a large number of enzymatic reactions, it acts in a way in all directions. There is magnesium in all cells. Those of the nervous system, muscles and heart are very sensitive to variations in the level of magnesium.

GLOSSARY Â (summary)

antibiotics
A substance capable of blocking the multiplication of certain bacteria or killing them. The spectrum of an antibiotic is the set of bacteria on which this product is usually active. Unlike bacteria, viruses are not susceptible to antibiotics. The first antibiotics were extracted from mushroom cultures: penicillium (penicillin), streptomyces (streptomycin). They are currently manufactured by chemical synthesis. Antibiotics are divided into families: penicillins, cephalosporins, macrolides, tetracyclines (cyclines), sulphonamides, aminoglycosides, lincosanides, phenicolates, polymyxins, quinolones, imidazoles, etc.
Inappropriate use of antibiotics can lead to the development of resistance: use antibiotics only on medical prescription, respect its dosage and duration, do not give or advise another person antibiotic that you have been prescribed.

renal insufficiency
Inability of the kidneys to eliminate waste or medicinal substances. An advanced renal insufficiency does not necessarily result in a decrease in the amount of urine excreted. Only a blood test and the dosage of creatinine may reveal this disease.

palpitations
Abnormal perception of irregular heartbeat.

allergic reaction
Reaction due to body hypersensitivity to a drug. Allergic reactions can include very varied aspects: urticaria, angioedema, eczema, eruption of pimples reminding the measles, etc. Anaphylactic shock is a generalized allergic reaction that causes discomfort by sudden drop in blood pressure.

vitamin
Essential to the growth and proper functioning of the body. Vitamin requirements are normally covered by a varied diet. In developed countries, only vitamin D deficiency, in young children or the elderly with little exposure to the sun, justifies systematic supplementation. Excessive intake, especially medicines, can lead to overdose and various disorders (mainly vitamins A and D).
