Digestive disorders refer to abnormal functioning or irritation affecting the digestive system, whether it involves digestion itself or intestinal transit. They encompass a wide range of symptoms, as they can involve any organ that plays a role in digestion—from the esophagus to the intestines, including, of course, the stomach.
A healthier overall lifestyle promotes better digestion. In addition, daily physical exercise increases blood flow to the organs, and one of the key benefits of exercise is that it helps stimulate the intestinal muscles. Sleep quality is just as important, as a lack of sleep can also contribute to digestive problems.
