What is Dexcom One Blood Glucose Meter?

Please note that the meter is based on French standards, i.e. in mg/dl.

Dexcom One Blood Glucose Meter is an innovative medical device designed to revolutionize day-to-day diabetes management. It enables continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), eliminating the need for fingertip pricks several times a day. Thanks to its intelligent, discreet sensor system, it provides real-time data for constant, precise monitoring of blood sugar levels.

This sensor is particularly useful for diabetics (type 1 or type 2) who want to better understand the evolution of their blood sugar levels, quickly identify episodes of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia, and adjust their treatment accordingly. The device is compatible with an intuitive mobile application, which displays blood glucose readings, trend curves and personalized alerts.

One of the main advantages of Dexcom One is its ease of use. Once installed, the sensor operates for up to 10 days without interruption, while transmitting information every 5 minutes to your smartphone. This gives you greater autonomy, confidence and peace of mind, while facilitating therapeutic decisions.

The sensor is recommended for use from the age of 2, including pregnant women. Its interstitial reading technology enables earlier detection of drifting blood sugar levels, soanticipating falls or peaks. This is a real asset in avoiding both short- and long-term complications.

Thanks to its customizable alerts, you'll be informed immediately if blood sugar levels are too low or too high, even without consulting your phone. These signals help you stay within the target range of 70 to 180 mg/dL, optimizing metabolic control and reducing the risks associated with poorly balanced diabetes.

Last but not least, the sensor fits perfectly into an active lifestyle. Its compact size, comfortable fit and water resistance mean it can be worn in the shower, during sport or at night. The user-friendly interface, detailed reports and compatibility with connected devices make Dexcom One a complete and reliable solution for proactive diabetes management.

If you're looking for a complementary solution to measure your blood sugar levels, discover OneTouch Select Plus Blood Glucose Meter, ideal as a back-up to confirm readings or when in doubt.
