LifeScan's OneTouch Verio Blood Glucose Test Strips collect blood from the fingertip, palm, or forearm.

Features:

• Test strip with a tip that automatically draws blood

OneTouch Verio test strips are designed for use with the OneTouch Verio IQ, OneTouch Verio Pro, and OneTouch Verio Blood Glucose Self-Monitoring Devices to measure blood glucose levels. Please note that the meter complies with French standards and displays results in mg/dl

Instructions for Use and Tips

Insert the OneTouch^Verio®test strip into the slot provided, positioning the gold side of the strip and the two silver tabs facing you. (Insert both tabs into the slot on the blood glucose meter.)

• When the“Apply Blood”screen appears, you can apply your blood sample to both sides of the test strip (toward the opening of the groove).
• Apply the sample to the opening of the groove.
• Be sure to apply your sample immediately after obtaining a drop of blood.
• Hold the blood glucose meter at a slight angle, positioning the channel toward the drop of blood.
• Upon contact with your sample (drop of blood), the test strip draws the blood into the groove. The groove must be completely filled.
• The groove turns red and the counter counts down from 5 to 1.
• The top of the test strip or its upper edge must not be covered with blood.

When using a new bottle of OneTouch^Verio®test strips, check the expiration date listed on the package insert.

Storage and Handling

• Store the test strips in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30°C.
• Protect them from direct sunlight and any source of heat.
• Do not store them in the refrigerator.
• Always store your test strips in the original bottle; do not transfer them to another bottle or container.
• After removing the OneTouch® Verio® test strip from the bottle, immediately replace the cap and close the bottle tightly.
• Use each test strip immediately after removing it from the bottle.
• Do not use test strips from a damaged vial or one that has been exposed to the open air.

Precautions for Use

• Write the disposal date on the bottle when you open it for the first time.
• Six months after first opening the bottle, discard any remaining OneTouch Verio test strips.
• Avoid getting dust or food on the top end of the test strip.
• You may touch the entire surface of the test strip with clean, dry hands.
• Do not use the test strips after the expiration date printed on the packaging.
• The test strips are for single-use only.
• Make sure the meter and the test strip are at similar temperatures before performing a test.
