What is Actisoufre Cold Rhinitis Rhinopharyngitis used for in spray or vials?

For warnings, precautions for use and contraindications, please consult the instructions for use of this non-prescription medication.

This very gentle cleansing solution helps reduce inflammation of the nasal mucosa and promotes the elimination of cumbersome secretions , especially during chronic or recurrent upper respiratory tract conditions.

The vocation of actisoufre is twofold: assimilated to a gesture of hygiene, its spraying by microdiffusion moistens and cleans the nasal mucosa. It also promotes the reduction of inflammatory states of the upper airways .

Equipped with a non-invasive tip, Rhinotherm facilitates the elimination of nasal secretions in children who do not yet know how to blow their nose. Rich in sulphur, this nasal solution aims to reduce inflammation of the ENT sphere.

The ancestral properties of sulfur have never wavered over the years, particularly in improving breathing, which thus optimizes the oxygenation of the body.

This non-prescription drug Actisoufre is indicated in chronic inflammatory conditions of the upper respiratory tract such as rhinitis and chronic nasopharyngitis . This sulfur drug composed of a source of vitamins and trace elements , as well as sulfur associated with a yeast extract, will relieve congested nasal and/or oral passages.

How to use Actisoufre Cold Rhinitis Rhinopharyngitis spray or vials?

How to use Actisoufre nasal spray?

Adults and children

  • A prolonged spray* of Actisoufre in each nostril 3 times a day, head tilted back.

infants

  • A spray of Actisoufre in each nostril, twice a day.
  • Administration should be performed in a side lying position or in a sitting position, when the infant is old enough to sit up, with the head tilted to the side, in order to avoid laryngospasm.
  • Introduce the tip for nasal use (short tip) in the nostril and spray frankly. Repeat the operation for the other nostril, tilting the head to the other side.

Don't :

  • Never perform a nasal spray of Actisoufre when the infant's head is back to prevent the liquid from going down the throat.
  • The spray time is estimated at 2 or 3 seconds for each nostril.

How to use Actisoufre by oral suspension or for nasal instillation?

Nasally:
Two nasal irrigations per day. Orally:
Children under 5 years old: half to one ampoule per day.
Adults and children over 5 years old: 2 ampoules per day.

If you have the impression that the effect of Actisoufre 4 mg/50 mg per 10 ml, oral suspension or suspension for nasal instillation is too strong or too weak: consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Comment on the recommendations for use and dosage of Actisoufre Nasal or throat spray for Rhinitis with our partner Avis checked after your purchase.

Method and route of administration :
  • Shake the Actisoufre ampoule before opening it.
  • Any aggregate that may remain is not active. It is formed from the walls of yeasts which have previously released their soluble components (extract rich in vitamins, trace elements.) in the bulb. This residual aggregate therefore does not alter the activity of the product.
  • When the ampoule is opened, the smell testifies to the mixture of sulfur and essence of orange blossom.
Please note: Actisoufre vials are self-breakable . To open an ampoule, take a tip between the thumb and index finger and, with a sharp movement, break it.
Present the ampoule thus opened above the dropper bottle or a glass, before repeating the same operation on the second tip.

Nasally:
  • Remove the tip from the dropper bottle.
  • Fill the bottle with the contents of one ampoule.
  • Stand in front of a sink, tilt your head back and run Actisoufre into your nostril by pressing hard on the dropper bottle. Breathe through your mouth while repeatedly pronouncing the syllable "ké".
  • Leave the product in contact with the secretions for a few moments (about half a minute).
  • Repeat until the contents of the dropper bottle have been completely used.
  • Repeat the same operation for the other nostril.
  • Immediately rinse the bottle under running water and dry it thoroughly.

Composition

This drug provides sulfur and yeasts in the form of sodium monosulfide nonahydrate and Saccharomyces cerevisie.

The composition of this sulfur-enriched Actisoufre nasal spray will help drain the nose and protect the respiratory mucous membranes. Directly in contact with the environment, it constitutes the first protective barrier of the respiratory system against external agents.

Active substances: Sodium monosulphide (sulphur compound)
Quantity corresponding to sodium sulphide 13.00 mg; Saccharomyces cerevisiae type D* 500.00 mg For a 100 ml bottle.
Other substances: Sodium saccharin, polysorbate 80, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219), 20% chlorhexidine digluconate solution, sodium chloride, essence composed of Neroli A ( essential oils of petitgrain bitter orange and sweet orange, geraniol, terpineol , linalool, methyl anthranylate, phenylethyl alcohol, geranyl acetate), purified water.

Our advice and advice from pharmacy experts

Chronic nasopharyngitis in infants, the best remedy: You
His family circle, the nanny, the children in the crèche or the nursery, everything is conducive to contaminating him, even if he is in excellent health. A toddler can suffer from nasopharyngitis up to 10 times a year! Also, you might as well take the right steps to soothe it at the first symptoms.

  • Above all, he needs your presence and your comfort to get through this delicate period against which he cannot act alone. First, provide care as soon as signs of infection appear.
  • Does he have a runny nose ? Gently clean it with saline or saltwater-derived solutions. Don't be alarmed if this clear discharge becomes thick and yellowish. This does not mean that there is a superinfection, it is simply the natural evolution of his cold.
  • Does he have a fever ? Give him regular water to drink and find out. His body heat needs to escape. If his fever persists and is above 38.5°C, relieve him with a medicine based on paracetamol or ibuprofen. Her temperature is a normal, natural reaction of her body that helps her fight the virus.

LEXIQUE  (sommaire)
