Our advice and expert advice in pharmacy

As you know, the vaginal ecosystem is fragile and the hydration of the mucous membranes can be easily disturbed. The causes of local drought are numerous (stress, tight clothing, following delivery, taking medication ...) and require special attention. Indeed, vaginal dryness can result in hypersensitivity, itching or burning, even seriously disturbing sexual intercourse.
Here are the ways to avoid these inconveniences :

  • Avoid intimate care too "aggressive" that can make things worse: douches, daily panty liners (too absorbent so desiccating), buffers throughout the period of the rules.
  • Prefer cotton underwear with synthetic underwear. Comfortable, they limit the risk of irritation and friction of the vulva.
  • Some contraceptions (pill, spermicides ...) can trigger a vaginal dryness. Check with your doctor that your treatment is suitable.
