Our brands Hemorrhoid

Hemorrhoids are dilated, inflammatory veins that form in the anus or rectum. It is normal for the veins in the anal area to swell slightly when you have a bowel movement. But unlike normal veins, hemorrhoids stay dilated all the time. The main causes of hemorrhoids are: constipation, pregnancy and loss of tissue tone with age. We offer you medicines suitable for the rapid relief of the most frequent symptoms.

How to recognize this inflammatory disease?

The symptoms of these hemorrhoid attacks are mainly the appearance of a small lump just at the edge of the anus, the same color as the skin. Sometimes the blood accumulated in this dilated hemorrhoid coagulates and forms a clot which then gives it a bluish color. This often causes severe pain, because the wall of the anus, very irrigated and innervated, is extremely sensitive. Hemorrhoids can cause mild bleeding, but rarely to the point of causing serious blood loss.

These symptoms are essentially those of external hemorrhoids attacks , it is therefore advisable to regularly apply a specific cream or gel with anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties. Rather, attacks of internal hemorrhoids cause inconspicuous bleeding, usually visible only on toilet paper, during or after bowel movements. It is possible to treat them using suitable medicated suppositories.

These attacks are usually not painful and some people who are victims, however, experience irritation, slight pain, itching or a frequent urge to have a bowel movement, without result. When internal hemorrhoids are very dilated, they can appear outside the anus, especially during flare-ups.

Some tips to limit the appearance of hemorrhoids

  • After having a bowel movement, gently cleanse yourself with a water-soaked toilet paper, wet baby towel, or damp cotton cloth. Avoid scented toilet papers.
  • In case of itching, apply cold compresses on the anus for ten minutes, 3 or 4 times a day.
  • In the event of a clot or hemorrhoid descending, take a sitz bath in warm water, 10 to 15 minutes, 2 or 3 times a day, to relieve the pain.
  • Wear cotton underwear. Lycra, acrylic and other synthetic fibers prevent moisture wicking.
  • Until the hemorrhoids are cured, avoid drinks and foods that can irritate the mucous membranes: coffee (even decaffeinated), alcohol, strong mustard, hot pepper and other strong spices.
  • Also avoid lifting heavy objects, as this increases the pressure in the veins

How to treat hemorrhoids?

In the form of cream, ointment, gel or suppository, topical products (local application) contain active ingredients aimed at relieving itching, pain and burning sensation , soothing, cooling and reducing the 'inflammation. To get the maximum benefit from these products, it is important to follow the dosage.

In treatment or used in prevention, venotonic drugs improve venous circulation also play on the edematous component of the crisis. High-dose micronized diosmin (2 to 3 g) can be used as a short-term cure, for example. We also advise people at risk, the regular intake of venotonic drugs which contain natural extracts of medicinal plants such as strong Ginkor (based on extract of ginkgo biloba).
