Diosmin is a semi-synthetic oral phlebotonic, used in the treatment of venous diseases such as chronicvenous insufficiency or hemorrhoidal diseases, against acute or chronic hemorrhoids, in place of an elastic ligature, in combination with a fiber supplement or as adjuvant treatment to hemorrhoidectomy to reduce secondary bleeding.

1. WHAT IS DIOSMINE EG LABO TIP 600 mg film-coated tablet AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?
This drug is a veinotonic (it increases the tone of the venous walls) and a vasoprotector (it increases the resistance of small blood vessels).
It is recommended in:
· disorders of the venous circulation (heavy legs, pains, painful sensations known as impatience at bedtime);
· the hemorrhoidal crisis.
