Hô Wood, native to China, has a linalool chemotype. It's important to note that Hô Wood, Ravintsara and Camphor come from the same tree, but their composition varies according to their geographical origin. Bois de Hô is distinguished by its high linalool content, a component with anti-infectious and skin-regenerating properties.

Anti-infective (linalool)

Hô Wood essential oil is exceptionally rich in linalool, a monoterpene alcohol with powerful anti-bacterial, antifungal, antiviral and parasiticidal properties. Studies have demonstrated its effectiveness against pathogenic micro-organisms such as Campylobacter jejuni, Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis. This exceptional concentration of linalool gives Hô Wood essential oil a reinforced anti-infectious action, making it a precious ally in the fight against bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic infections.

Skin regenerator (linalool)

Recognized for its cosmetic virtues, Hô Wood essential oil is appreciated for its regenerating action on the skin. Thanks to its astringent properties, it tightens skin pores, making it a precious ally for mature skin in search of firmness and acne-prone skin in search of purification. The linalool contained in the essential oil also promotes cell regeneration, helping to repair skin damage and maintain healthy, radiant skin.

Tonic, Stimulant

Hô Wood essential oil acts as a tonic and stimulant on several levels. Thanks to its action on the nervous system, it combats general fatigue and can even act as an aphrodisiac. What's more, it boosts the immune system when vitality declines, helping to maintain optimal health. By stimulating the body, this essential oil also helps improve blood circulation, promoting tissue oxygenation and overall body revitalization.
