What is Douxo S3 Calm Soothing Foam for Dogs and Cats 150 ml?

Dogs and cats are exposed to external aggressors on a daily basis: pollen, dust, dust mites, irritants... All these micro-particles disturb their skin and weaken their comfort. When theskin's ecosystem is disturbed, the protective barrier loses its defensive role: the natural flora no longer ensures balance, immune defenses are triggered, and sensations ofirritation, redness and itching appear. If you've ever seen your companion frantically scratching himself, biting his tail or rubbing his muzzle, you know how uncomfortable and repetitive these skin disorders can become.

Douxo S3 Calm Soothing No-Rinse Foam for Dogs and Cats 150 ml has been specially developed to soothe, moisturize and protect sensitive, irritated or pruritic skin. This veterinary dermatological treatment helps rebalance the skin's flora, restoring better protected skin and limiting daily aggression. Thanks to its foamy texture, the active ingredients remain in direct contact with the skin for hours, promoting a long-lasting action. No need for water, no need for a bath, no stress: a real advantage for animals resistant to shampoo.

At the heart of the formula isOphytrium, a natural extract from the roots of the Japanese lily of the valley, selected from hundreds of ingredients for its high tolerance and overall effectiveness. This active ingredient acts on the skin's three pillars: it strengthens the mechanical barrier, limits local inflammation, and rebalances the microflora for healthier skin. The result: a calmer animal, a more supple coat, a less aggressed dermis, and above all, renewed comfort.

By regularly applying the foam all over the body, the skin is deeply rehydrated. Fragile areas - abdomen, legs, neck, ears - regain softness and suppleness. Animals that scratch less heal better: skin that breathes is skin that rebuilds itself. Unlike conventional shampoos, this foam allows the active ingredients to penetrate the skin over time, even after drying. That's why it's often recommended for anxious, elderly cats or dogs, or those with chronic dermatoses.

The formula has been designed for maximum safety: high tolerance, use on all breeds, long or short hair, young animals or adults. The foam also facilitates detangling, leaving the coat soft, shiny and pleasant to the touch. With repeated application, owners notice a clear reduction in redness, less scratching and a visibly healthier coat.

In short, this skin care product is an ideal solution for animals with :

  • localized or generalized inflammatory conditions
  • sensitive, dry or weakened skin,
  • recurrent itching
  • skin flora imbalance,
  • or discomfort caused by allergens and irritants.

Thanks to its gentle texture, targeted application, no-rinse formula and light fragrance, this mousse becomes a daily care routine, almost a tender ritual between master and pet. And because we want the best for them, this type of product offers a perfect balance between dermatological effectiveness and gentleness of use. Moisturize, soothe and protect, and your pet can finally relax.

In addition to its soothing action, regular care also has a preventive effect. Well-nourished, protected and balanced skin is more resistant to future aggressions. In other words, we don't just soothe, we preserve, strengthen and rebalance.

Douxo veterinary laboratory also offers chlorhexidine microemulsion at the best price in our online pharmacy.

Expert advice

To soothe irritation naturally, remember to support your companion's skin defenses with a diet rich in essential fatty acids, notably omega 3 and omega 6. Certain supplements based on salmon or borage oil can boost skin hydration. Good environmental hygiene is just as important: regularly vacuuming textiles, washing baskets, avoiding aggressive detergents and choosing hypoallergenic household products limits the load of allergens in the home.

Finally, always check the condition of the skin: if redness persists or lesions appear, a veterinary check-up will ensure that appropriate care is taken. An animal's well-being also depends on daily observation and gentle care.
