What is Advityl ChondroFlex used for?

Advityl Chondro Flex 3 x 60 Tablets is a dietary supplement containing chondroitin, glucosamine, collagen, MSM and vitamin C to relieve painful joints. ALVITYL CHONDROFLEX helps treat unpleasant sensations in the joints (knees, hip, back, ankle, wrist, shoulder...) that occur with age, sport, excess weight and traumatic shocks: factors that weaken joints and contribute to the wear and tear of cartilage.

  • Chondroitin is an essential constituent of the joint cartilage matrix, produced by the body.
  • Glucosamine is an essential component of cartilage, produced by the body.
  • MSM is a sulfur-containing substance found in foods and plants such as horsetail, which helps build cartilage proteoglycans.
  • Collagen is a protein found not only in cartilage, but also in tendons, ligaments and connective tissue.
  • Vitamin C contributes to collagen formation, ensuring normal cartilage function.

Chondroitin is a sulfated glycosaminoglycan close to hyaluronic acid, used in the production of proteoglycans (a combination of protein and carbohydrates). Chondroitin sulfate is a component of the cartilage matrix; it enables cartilage hydration, and thus its flexibility and elasticity.

Healthy chondrocytes normally synthesize chondroitin and glucosamine from glucose in food, following a number of biochemical reactions. The body's production of these two substances declines with age. The combination of glucosamine and chondroitin is relevant, as the mechanisms of action of these two molecules are complementary.

Sulfur is present in the collagen of the skin, joints and blood vessels. In joints, it enables the production of chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine sulfate and hyaluronic acid, which give cartilage its elasticity. It plays a critical role in the stability and integrity of connective tissue and proteins.

MSM helps maintain connective tissue (tendons, deep dermis, collagen, cartilage, etc.) in good condition. Sulfur is essential for the action of glutathione, a powerful free-radical neutralizer required for the formation and restoration of the cartilage cell matrix.

Expert advice

Joints need to be hydrated, nourished and supported to function harmoniously. In addition to supplementation with Alvityl Chondroflex, adopt a naturopathic approach to reinforce the long-term benefits. Eat a diet rich in natural antioxidants (red fruits, green vegetables, turmeric), omega-3s (oily fish, flaxseed oil) and low in ultra-processed foods that promote inflammation.

Regular gentle physical activity such as Nordic walking, swimming or yoga helps maintain joint suppleness without damaging the tissues. Finally, don't forget the importance of joint rest and stress management, as a tired or chronically stressed body produces less collagen and cartilage.

For a complete approach, combine this supplement with infusions of horsetail, nettle or blackcurrant, plants traditionally used in phytotherapy for their remineralizing and joint-draining action. In consultation, a naturopath may also recommend organic silica cures, ideal for worn or strained joints.
