Description of Actipoche Hot Cold Pad 11 x 27 cm

Actipoche Hot Cold Pad 11x27 cm is a natural solution to quickly relieve pain by its hot action ( thermotherapy ) or cold ( cryotherapy ). Reusable, this thermal pocket easily adapts to the painful area.

• Hot uses : Muscle contractures, back pain, torticollis, lumbago, menstrual pain, etc.
• Cold uses : Sprains, strains, strokes and hematomas, headaches, toothache, etc.

Advice for use and dosage

Hot :
1 / Microwave heating :

• Place the thermal pocket flat in the center of the microwave oven. Make sure that the edges of it do not touch the walls of the oven.
• Set the oven to 600W and warm for 30 seconds.
• Repeat the operation up to 3 times to obtain the desired temperature. Between each operation, remove the oven bag and knead it with your hands so that the temperature is evenly distributed.
• If the bag is too hot, allow it to cool.
• When the desired temperature is reached, insert the pocket into its cover
• Apply on the painful area for 20 to 30 minutes.

2 / Heating with hot water :

• Heat water in a container.
• Remove the container from the heat source.
• Immerse the thermal bag in hot water for 2 minutes.
• Remove the bag from the water, wipe it with a towel.
• Insert the pocket into its cover.
• Mix with your hands to distribute the heat.
• Apply on the painful area for 20 to 30 minutes.

Cold :

• Place the bag without its cover in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or for 20 minutes in the freezer.
• Insert the pocket into its cover and apply on the painful area 20 minutes maximum.
