Boiron, a French pharmaceutical company and expert in cosmetics

Founded in 1932, Boiron is known worldwide for its expertise in homeopathy. Less well known is its cosmetics line, which applies the same pharmaceutical standards to everyday skincare: relief from insect bites, muscle and joint comfort, care for sensitive skin and lips, and CBD-based wellness products.

These products fall under Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products: they are neither drugs nor medical devices. This distinction governs what these products can and cannot claim—our pharmacy team is here to advise you accordingly.

Dapis: Soothing Insect Bites

The Dapis stick and gel are formulated with essential oils (spike lavender, lavandin, geranium) known for their soothing effect on itchy skin after a mosquito or insect bite. The 3-ml roll-on size fits easily into a travel bag.

Useful note: Boiron also offers Dapis mosquito repellents in roll-on and spray formats. These products are subject to biocidal regulations that differ from the cosmetics presented here.

The Arnica Line: Muscle and Joint Comfort

Formulated with fresh, organically grown Arnica montana plants, this cosmetic line supports recovery after exercise and helps relieve everyday tension, without any therapeutic claims:

• Arnicrème® (70g): massage cream, for use before exercise or to aid recovery after physical activity.
• Arniroller® (45g): roll-on gel with a metal ball for targeted, on-the-go self-massage.
• ArniPatch® (x5): hydrogel patch with a warming then soothing effect, to be applied directly to the area needing relief.

CBD by Boiron®, everyday well-being

The CBD by Boiron® line combines natural CBD derived from organic Cannabis sativa with plant extracts (arnica, harpagophytum) in a cosmetic formulation designed for massage:

• Repair & Relax Gel: for muscle relaxation after exercise, available in a tube or roll-on for self-massage.
• Softening & Soothing Gel-Cream: enriched with harpagophytum, for daily joint comfort.
• Sports Massage Oil (100 ml): for athletic preparation and recovery.

The CBD used is isolated from other cannabinoids and has no psychoactive effects.

Dermoplasmine®, care for sensitive skin and lips

Made with organic calendula, the Dermoplasmine® line offers fragrance-free products suitable for even the most sensitive skin:

• Calendula Cream (20g): soothes and repairs skin irritated by everyday friction and chafing.
• Lip Balm and Moisturizing Lip Stick: protect lips that are chapped, damaged, or dried out by the cold.

Baby Care

The 2-in-1 Diaper Rash Cream protects and soothes baby’s bottom every day, with the same commitment to minimalist formulations as the rest of the Boiron cosmetics line.
