Nurofen is an effective pain reliever for most mild to moderate pain. Please note, however, that this medication contains ibuprofen and therefore acts as a strong pain reliever at high doses. It should not be used routinely for minor aches and pains and is contraindicated for pregnant women after the sixth month of pregnancy.
