How to use an antiseptic?
For optimal results, there are a few rules to follow:
Simply washing with soap and water will eliminate most germs; this should be followed by a thorough rinse, as soap can inactivate certain antiseptics. It is normal for hydrogen peroxide to foam on contact with blood and serosities: this effervescence is due to the release of oxygen and facilitates wound cleansing. All antiseptics can be contaminated by germs: once opened, the bottle should be kept for a very short time. This product should be stored away from light and heat, with the bottle tightly capped to preserve its effectiveness.
