Hydrogen peroxide has antiseptic properties. It is applied locally to skin lesions to disinfect them and prevent the proliferation of microbes. Hydrogen peroxide is a component of certain products used in dermatology.
Its 10-volume hydrogen peroxide formula eliminates micro-organisms on the skin, temporarily reducing their numbers. Although it does not sterilize the wound, it acts deep down to limit bacterial proliferation. When applied locally, it ensures optimal hygiene, preventing infection and promoting better healing.
Got a small cut or scratch? Eau Oxygénée 10 Volumes Gilbert is perfect for gently cleansing superficial wounds. Its characteristic foaming action on contact with the skin helps remove residues, making it easier to clean the affected area. A practical, ready-to-use solution you can take anywhere.
A single-dose format, ideal for impeccable hygiene. Each single-dose unit is pre-measured and guarantees precise use, limiting the risk of cross-contamination. Once opened, it must be used immediately, so there's no wastage. This format is also ideal for first-aid kits, whether at home, traveling or during sporting activities.
What's more, this hydrogen peroxide is recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women only on medical advice. It is therefore essential to consult a health professional before use in these specific cases. This precaution guarantees safe use for sensitive or at-risk individuals.
