1. WHAT IS OLIGOSTIM ZINC, sublingual tablet AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Pharmacotherapeutic class: OLIGOTHERAPY (V: Miscellaneous)
This medicine contains zinc. It is used as a ground modifier, particularly in skin disorders, in adults.
2. WHAT DO I HAVE TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING OLIGOSTIM ZINC, sublingual tablet?
If your doctor has informed you that you are intolerant to certain sugars, contact him/her before taking this medicine.
Never take OLIGOSTIM ZINC, sublingual tablet :
- if you are allergic to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine, as listed in section 6.
Warnings and precautions
Treatment with this trace mineral does not dispense with any specific treatment.
This drug is not recommended for patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome (rare hereditary diseases).
Children and adolescents

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or may take any other medicines.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
As a precautionary measure, this medicine should not be used during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Driving and using machines

OLIGOSTIM ZINC, sublingual tablet contains lactose.
3. HOW DO I TAKE OLIGOSTIM ZINC, sublingual tablet?
Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
Dosage
The recommended dose is 1 to 2 sublingual tablets a day.
Method and route of administration
Take by mouth.
Allow tablets to melt under the tongue.
Take in the morning on an empty stomach or between meals.
Use in children and adolescents
FOR ADULTS ONLY
If you have taken more OLIGOSTIM ZINC, sublingual tablet than you should have
No case of overdose has been reported.
If you forget to take OLIGOSTIM ZINC, sublingual tablet

5. HOW TO CONSERVE OLIGOSTIM ZINC, sublingual tablet?
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the label or outer packaging.
Store at room temperature.
Do not dispose of any medicine down the drain or in the household waste. Ask your pharmacist to identify any medicines you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.

- The active substance is :
Zinc gluconate.............................................................................................................. 0.220 mg
Corresponding amount of elemental zinc.............................................................................. 0.032 mg
For one sublingual tablet.
- Other components are : Lactose, croscarmellose A, magnesium stearate.
