Arkofluide: Innovative Herbal Medicine

Arkofluide is Arkopharma’s specialized line of liquid herbal remedies. It features blends of plants sourced fromorganic farming. This liquid formulation is packaged in high-quality oral ampoules that are free of artificial colors, preservatives, alcohol, and synthetic flavors. To meet every need, there are 16 different oral ampoule formulations, all designed to offer the best that nature has to offer. This line of natural products is manufactured in France using the“ULTRAextract”extraction process. Arkofluides are made from ECOCERT-certified organic plants. This certification ensures safety and compliance with regulations. Once a plant is identified, quality checks are conducted to verify its quality. To ensure the highest quality and safety of the products, the entire Arkopharma Laboratories production facility meets the requirements of theISO 22000standard for dietary supplements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for medications.

Why use a liquid form?

The liquid form is a tradition in herbal medicine; it was traditionally obtained by infusion—pouring boiling water over the tender parts of the plant—and then allowing it to steep for a certain period to extract its active ingredients. After years of research, Arkopharma Laboratories developed the ULTRAextract® process to extract active ingredients while preserving the plant’s natural properties. Here are the different steps in the ULTRAextract®extraction process:

• Extraction of active ingredients: The plants are immersed in extraction tanks and subjected to ultrasonic pulses that are very precisely calibrated to preserve the plant’s integrity. The ultrasound creates what are known as cavitation bubbles in the water. As they implode, they release a large amount of energy and produce jets of water propelled at high speed toward the plant. This phenomenon destabilizes the plant’s cellular structures, allowing the active ingredients to be extracted from deep within the plant.
• Pressing: The pressing stage separates the liquid and solid components and extracts the maximum amount of active compounds by pressing the plant.
• Filtration and packaging: After pressing, the plants are filtered to remove the finest undissolved particles. The resulting extract is then packaged in ampoules. Finally, the ampoules are sterilized at an appropriate temperature to preserve the active ingredients and ensure their long-term stability.
