What is Rosier Davenne Thujanol Thyme Essential Oil used for?

It is a small, bushy shrub that can grow up to 40 cm tall. It has small, curved leaves with dark green edges that are covered in hairs and trichomes. Thyme is an aromatic plant that perfectly illustrates the value of classifying essential oils by chemotype, since depending on its growing location, climate, and many other factors, thyme produces essential oils with different properties. The chemical polymorphism of Thymus vulgaris was first studied by Granger et al. in 1963. Between 1971 and 1986, Passet, Granger, and Vernet et al. identified six chemotypes of thyme: geraniol, α-terpineol, thuyanol, linalool, carvacrol, and thymol.

Essential oil from savory-leaved thyme is used to combat general fatigue. It is highly effective in preventing and treating winter ailments.

Thujanol thyme essential oil, produced by Rosier Davenne, offers a wide range of therapeutic properties. First, its antiseptic properties make it a valuable asset in fighting bacterial and fungal infections. Its disinfectant action makes it an optimal choice for cleaning and protecting wounds and cuts, thereby helping to prevent infectious complications.

In addition, this essential oil has notable antiviral properties. It works by strengthening the immune system, which helps the body fight the viruses responsible for respiratory infections such as the common cold and the flu. By promoting a stronger immune response, it helps reduce the duration and severity of these common ailments.

Its stimulating effect is also remarkable. With an invigorating scent and stimulating properties, this essential oil acts as a natural tonic, ideal for combating physical and mental fatigue. Using it can help restore energy and vitality, thereby promoting better concentration and greater productivity.

For respiratory ailments, thujanol thyme essential oil provides significant relief. It helps clear the airways when congestion occurs due to a cold or sinusitis, making it easier to breathe. Its expectorant action can help eliminate mucus and relieve symptoms associated with respiratory conditions.

Finally, this essential oil has calming properties when diffused into the air. By promoting relaxation, it helps alleviate stress and anxiety, creating an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and well-being. Its aromatic and soothing scent creates a serene atmosphere, ideal for promoting rest and relaxation after a busy day.

We also offerLemon Verbena essential oil from Pranarom, a laboratory specializing in aromatherapy, at the best price in our online pharmacy.

Thujanol thyme is a plant whose annual production is too low to meet demand. Thujanol marjoram essential oil, as its name suggests, has a chemical composition very similar to that of thujanol thyme essential oil. In fact, both contain a significant proportion of a sesquiterpenol known for its powerful anti-infective action: thujanol.

Thujanol-rich marjoramessential oil can therefore easily replace thujanol-rich thyme essential oil in aromatherapy formulations for treating ENT or muscular conditions.
