In cats,Fyperix Combo provides:
Treatment ofinfestations caused by fleas alone or mixed infestations involving fleas and ticks and/or chewing lice:
- Eradication of fleas (Ctenocephalidesspp.). The insecticide is effective against new infestations by adult fleas and remains active for 4 weeks. Prevents the proliferation of fleas by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity), larvae, and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas for a period of 6 weeks after application.
- Eradication of ticks (Ixodes ricinus,Dermacentor variabilis,Rhipicephalus sanguineus). This antiparasitic provides acaricidal efficacy against ticks that lasts up to 2 weeks.
- Eradication of chewing lice (Felicola subrostratus).
The medication can be used as part of a treatment program for flea bite allergy dermatitis (FBAD), if it has been previously diagnosed by your veterinarian.
