Dosage Protocols
Dosage varies depending on the clinical indication. It is essential to follow the instructions of a healthcare professional.
Dosages for Preventing and Treating Vascular and Cardiac Disorders
To alleviate dizziness, particularly in older adults, and to relieve headaches accompanied by congestion and aggravated by heat, it is recommended to take one dose of Phosphorus 9 CH, with a 7-day interval between doses. Treatment lasts for a period of 6 months. The same dose is used to treat venous circulation problems in the legs.
The same dosage is also prescribed for the prevention of strokes. However, to prevent vascular complications related to diabetes, take one dose of Phosphorus 15 CH for 6 months, with one-week intervals between doses.
Dosages for ENT, dental, and pulmonary conditions
Intense gum pain is relieved by taking 5 granules of Phosphorus 15 CH every 10 minutes. It is recommended to space out doses as the patient’s condition improves.
To treat laryngitis and hoarse, dry coughs, it is recommended to take 5 granules of Phosphorus 9 CH morning and evening for several days. If coughing fits occur between doses, treat them immediately by taking 5 granules as well.
Dosages for Hepatic, Gastrointestinal, and Ophthalmological Disorders
To treat gastroenteritis in children, administer 5 granules of Phosphorus 9 CH three times a day. Normally, 3 days of treatment are sufficient to improve the child’s condition; otherwise, consult a doctor promptly.
Recurrent nosebleeds or other similar types of bleeding can be stopped by taking 5 granules of Phosphorus 15 CH three times a week for 3 months. The remedy can be taken on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This regimen should be followed to prevent these types of bleeding in the future.
Postoperative bleeding can be reduced by taking 5 granules of Phosphorus 15 CH every morning during the week leading up to surgery. Of course, taking the 5 granules after the operation also helps reduce this bleeding. To stop acute bleeding, take 5 granules of Phosphorus 15 CH every 10 minutes. You can space out the doses once you notice improvement.
Retinal hemorrhages can be effectively prevented by taking a weekly dose of Phosphorus 9 CH for six months. This same dosage is recommended to prevent recurrent retinal hemorrhages.
Dosages for Gynecological Disorders
For metrorrhagia or menorrhagia, the usual dose is 5 granules of Phosphorus 15 or 30 CH when symptoms first appear. Continue treatment by taking one weekly dose of the same dilution.
Recommended Dosages for Other Conditions
Joint pain is treated by taking a weekly dose of Phosphorus 15 CH. Be sure to take this treatment on the same day of the week. For example, you may choose to take your treatment every Tuesday or every Friday, but you should not change the day from one week to the next.
Behavioral disorders characterized by alternating depressive moods and cheerful attitudes are treated with a weekly dose of Phosphorus 30 CH for 4 months.
To supplement treatment prescribed by a cardiologist or as an initial treatment for heart failure, it is recommended to take 5 granules of Phosphorus 9 CH daily.
In summary, Phosphorus is a versatile homeopathic remedy used to treat various health conditions. It is important to follow the recommended dosages and to consult a doctor or specialist if in doubt or if symptoms persist despite treatment.

What to Do If There Is No Improvement Within 24 Hours
Certain conditions cannot be treated with homeopathy through self-medication alone. Their severity requires medical advice, which can be provided by a homeopathic physician. This medical doctor will determine whether your condition can be treated with Phosphorus alone or whether your treatment needs to be supplemented with allopathic medicine.
