Cystine Vitamin B6 from Biogaran Laboratories is a medication in the form of film-coated tablets used as an adjunctive treatment for cutaneous conditions (brittle nails and hair) and as an adjunctive treatment for corneal healing disorders.
Intended for adults, Biogaran Cystine Vitamin B6 contains 500 mg of L-cystine and 50 mg of vitamin B6 per tablet. It truly nourishes hair and nails from the inside, restoring their strength and beauty.
Vitamin B6 supports the proper functioning and balance of the nervous system.

This medication contains a sulfur-containing amino acid and Vitamin B6. It is used tostrengthen brittle hair and nails, and as an adjunct in the treatment ofcorneal healing.
Understanding How Hair Grows
To make hair grow faster, it’s important to understand the hair’s life cycle. Hair grows from its root, which develops beneath the scalp in a tiny sac called the hair follicle. It emerges from the root through the papilla, located at the base of the root, through which blood flows to nourish it. It is therefore the “raw material” contained in the blood that enables the hair to grow. Next, the blood flows from the papilla to the matrix, where the hair’s reproductive cells are located—these are the fastest-dividing cells in the body.
Take 4 Biogaran Cystine Vitamin B6 tablets daily in two doses with meals. Swallow the tablets with a large glass of water.

Contraindicated combinations of Cystine Vitamin B6 Biogaran
Levodopa. Inhibition of levodopa activity when used without a peripheral dopa-decarboxylase inhibitor.
Avoid any intake of pyridoxine in the absence of a dopa decarboxylase inhibitor.
Film-coated tablet (round, biconvex): L-cystine 500 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 50 mg. This medication is recommended as an adjunct to nails or fragile hair.

Do not take CYSTINE / VITAMIN B6 BIOGARAN CONSEIL 500 mg / 50 mg film-coated tablets:
· if you are allergic to L-cystine or pyridoxine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medication mentioned in section 6.
· If you are allergic to peanut or soy because this medicine contains soy lecithin.
· cystinuria.

Hair loss
· Hair loss (or alopecia) is frequently associated with capillary fragility.
· Sudden hair loss over a short period of time may be diffuse or patchy (alopecia areata) and are most often of known cause (aggressive hair care, poor general condition, poorly balanced weight loss, certain medications, psychic shock, stress. ..).
