Our advice and expert advice in pharmacy

In case of stress, your body is put on alert. Your heart beats faster, you feel tense, you can no longer think properly. In short, you will do well with this stress. Essential oils will act on these different points to "calm" the state of alert your body and make your nervous system regain its balance.

How do essential oils work to reduce stress?

Some essential oils possess molecules that influence the nervous system called vegetative. Basically, the vegetative nervous system refers to the movements of your body that you do not control, such as the functioning of the kidneys, intestines, heart, breathing, or adrenaline.
For example, it is now known that the essential oil of ylang-ylang or bergamot essential oil breathed by stressed teachers has been able to decrease their heart rate and adrenaline levels.

LEXICON (summary)

alcohol
General name for a family of substances that have the property of being able to be mixed with water and fat. The most common alcohol is ethyl alcohol (ethanol), but there are many other alcohols: methanol, butanol, etc. The degree of an alcoholic solution corresponds to the volume of pure alcohol present in 100 ml of solution, knowing that 1 glass of wine flask or 1 half of beer (25 cl) contain about 8 g of alcohol.
When alcohol is used as an antiseptic, a denaturant with an unpleasant smell is often added to prevent it from being drunk. Contrary to popular belief, alcohol at 70o (or even at 60o) is a better antiseptic than alcohol at 90o.

complex
Name given to an association of several homeopathic remedies. In general, the dilutions used are low: from 3 DH (Hahnemannian decimal) to 6 CH (Hahnemannian centesimal).

homeopathic treatment
Treatment based on the administration of highly diluted substances of vegetable, animal or mineral origin. The main principles of homeopathy are the similarity (use of substances producing effects similar to the symptom of the disease), the infinitesimal dilution (the substances used are the subject of multiple dilutions) and the globality (the treatment target does not). is not an organ in particular, but the individual as a whole).
