Carlytene is a medication containing moxisylyte, which has vasodilatory properties. It helps improve memory function in older adults and relieves Raynaud’s syndrome.
Mechanism of Action: Moxisylyte blocks alpha-1 receptors on blood vessels, causing them to dilate and thereby increasing blood flow. This increased blood flow to the brain improves cognitive function and alleviates Raynaud’s syndrome
1 tablet 3 times a day.
When to take: The tablets may be taken with or without meals.
Duration of treatment: The duration of treatment is determined under a doctor’s supervision.
Raynaud’s syndrome can be benign or may indicate an underlying condition.
Raynaud’s syndrome or Raynaud’s disease (benign) is defined as a decrease in blood flow to the extremities (hands, feet, nose, ears, etc.), triggered by cold. This phenomenon, which is usually completely reversible within a few minutes, results in changes in skin color (from blue to white and then to red).

There have been rare cases of liver damage, regressive on discontinuation of treatment, for doses greater than 90 mg per day.
It is therefore recommended not to exceed the 90 mg dose, ie 3 tablets per 24 hours.

1 tablet 30 mg, morning, noon and evening. Do not exceed 3 tablets per day.

Overdose may include hypotension, priapism (involuntary penile erection and painful erection), increased transaminases or hepatitis.
If you take more CARLYTENE 30 mg tablet coated than it should, contact your doctor immediately.
