More details
In the world of animal health, Clément Thékan—a brand of Omega Pharma Laboratories—stands out as a leader in the veterinary pharmacy market. This page explores the comprehensive solutions offered by Clément Thékan to treat common minor ailments affecting our four-legged companions—cats and dogs—with a focus on their well-being and optimal health.
External Parasite Control Products (EPC): It is necessary to treat not only the animal but also its environment to effectively combat fleas and ticks. Clément-Thékan offers products that take immediate effect against parasites for dogs and cats: spot-on treatments, sprays, shampoos, powders, as well as products to treat their environments. To remove ticks attached to the animal, Clément-Thékan offers a “special tick” product. This product can also be used on humans.
With a comprehensive range of products tailored to every need, Clément Thékan has established itself as a key player in the field of animal health. Whether for parasite control or the nutrition of newborns, Clément Thékan offers effective and safe solutions, demonstrating its commitment to animal welfare. By choosing Clément Thékan, pet owners can be assured that they are providing their pets with the best possible care.
External parasites, such as ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, and sand flies, are a constant threat to the health of our pets. These parasites can cause severe itching, leading animals to scratch frantically and, in some cases, injure themselves. Even more seriously, ticks are disease vectors.
To combat these parasites, Clément Thékan has developed a line of treatments made with natural ingredients. For example, their insect-repellent pipettes, sized according to the animal’s weight, provide effective protection without using harmful insecticides. Their flagship product, Fiprokil Duo for dogs—a “generic” version of Frontline Duo—contains fipronil, which acts on the parasites’ nervous system, and pyriproxyfen, which inhibits the development of eggs and larvae.
In addition to topical treatments, Clément Thékan offers solutions forthe animal’s environment, such as antiparasitic sprays and powders, as well as an insecticide specifically designed for the home. These products effectively eliminate parasites in the animal’s immediate environment, providing comprehensive protection.
Internal parasites, such as worms, also pose a significant threat to animal health. Clément Thékan offers solutions in various forms to treat these infestations.
Milprazikan, a deworming medication, is specifically designed to treat mixed flatworm infestations in cats. It works by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses in the parasites, paralyzing and killing them. For dogs, Clément Thékan offers VermiScan for Dogs 500 mg, effective against roundworms and flatworms, and Strantel for Dogs tablets, which treat nematodes and cestodes.
Clément Thékan isn’t limited to traditional pets. For poultry, the brand has developed a natural repellent against intestinal parasites, available in liquid form. This treatment provides effective and natural protection for poultry.
Animal care isn’t limited to parasite control. Nutrition is an essential aspect, particularly for newborns. Milkkan is a complete formula for feeding puppies, kittens, rabbits, ferrets, and rodents. This formula is an ideal solution to supplement or replace mother’s milk, especially in cases where the mother does not produce enough milk or is absent.
Pet hygiene and well-being are essential aspects of their health. Clément Thékan, recognized for its expertise in the veterinary field, offers a wide range of hygiene and care products tailored to the specific needs of dogs and cats.
Clément Thékan’s Denticroc powder is specially formulated to combat plaque, tartar, and bad breath in dogs and cats. It ensures optimal oral hygiene, which is essential to the animal’s overall health.
Denticare Trio dog wipes, available in different sizes depending on the animal’s size, are an effective solution for cleaning dogs’ and cats’ teeth and reducing plaque and tartar, while eliminating the bacteria that cause bad breath.
Clément Thékan offers a variety of shampoos tailored to each animal’s specific needs: nourishing, detangling, for sensitive skin, for white or short coats, as well as a dry shampoo for quick cleaning without getting the animal wet.
For quick and convenient cleaning, Clément Thékan’s cleaning wipes are ideal. The brand also offers specific products for eye and ear care, ensuring complete hygiene.
Arthrosenior is a tablet supplement that supports joint mobility in older dogs. To protect paws, Clément Thékan has developed a fortifier for paw pads.
Digeskan oral paste is a dietary supplement that helps restore healthy gut flora in dogs and cats, thereby reducing the risk of intestinal malabsorption in cases of acute diarrhea.
For cats prone to stress, Clément Thékan offers effective calming solutions such as a diffuser and an anti-stress spray. These products promote a soothing atmosphere through the synthetic production of pheromones.
With its Natural Insect Repellent Line, Clément-Thékan protects dogs and cats against fleas, ticks, sand flies, mosquitoes, lice, chiggers, and flies. Formulated with geraniol, a naturally derived active ingredient, this insecticide-free product line prevents external parasites from infesting the animal while ensuring environmental safety. This is a major advantage of the Clément-Thékan line, which offers a less toxic option for animals—particularly cats—as well as for children and the environment. This line is available in spot-on treatments, sprays, fit-on treatments, and more.
