What is Phytosun Aroms Honey-Lemon Sore Throat Spray used for?

This throat spray, made with propolis and honey combined with 100% pure and natural essential oils, is particularly suitable for use during the winter months. Phytosun Aroms Throat Spray with Honey & Essential Oils contains propolis and honey, both known for their soothing properties.

Its formula also includes 100% pure and natural, botanically and biochemically defined (HEBBD) essential oils:

  • Eucalyptus essential oil: the quintessential essential oil for the lungs, it has beneficial effects on the throat and bronchial tubes.
  • Linalool Thyme Essential Oil: a powerful antiseptic, antiviral, and antibacterial agent, it also has invigorating effects on the mind.
  • Yellow Lemon essential oil: It combats general fatigue and helps prevent infections, while strengthening the body’s natural immunity.

Propolis is a natural product renowned for its many therapeutic properties. Used since ancient times for its medicinal benefits, it is particularly valued for its soothing effect on throat irritation. In fact, propolis forms a protective film that coats the mucous membranes, thereby soothing burning and tingling sensations. Furthermore, its healing properties promote tissue regeneration and accelerate the healing process of skin lesions and sore throats.

Honey has been a prized food for centuries, not only for its sweet taste but also for its many therapeutic properties. Honey is known for its soothing and antibacterial properties, making it an excellent remedy for sore throats. Thanks to its viscous texture, honey forms a protective film on the throat lining, thereby soothing irritation and promoting a sense of comfort. Additionally, its antibacterial properties help eliminate pathogens present in the throat, thereby helping to fight infection.

Eucalyptus essential oil is renowned for its benefits for the respiratory tract. Thanks to its expectorant and mucolytic properties, it helps clear the bronchi and thin secretions, which facilitates coughing up phlegm and relieves coughs. Furthermore, eucalyptus has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe throat irritation and reduce inflammation in the respiratory tract.

Linalool thyme essential oil is known for its antiseptic and invigorating properties. It effectively combats microbial infections by destroying pathogenic germs in the throat and strengthening the body’s natural defenses. In addition, linalool thyme has invigorating properties that stimulate the immune system and help combat general fatigue.

Yellow Lemon essential oil is known for its revitalizing and stimulating properties. It helps combat physical and mental fatigue by revitalizing the body and stimulating blood circulation. Furthermore, yellow lemon has immunostimulant properties that strengthen the body’s natural defenses and help prevent infections. Finally, its fresh and pleasant scent helps calm the mind and promote a sense of general well-being.
