How to get rid of lice naturally?

To get rid of nits and lice, nothing beats a green clay mask with lavender essential oil and coconut oil—a true lice repellent. To make it, mix organic green clay with a little water and a tablespoon of coconut oil until you get a fairly thick paste, then add five drops of lavender essential oil.

• Apply this mask to your child’s head and cover it with plastic wrap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then apply a mild conditioner and a detangler. You’ll then be able to comb through their hair with a fine-toothed comb and remove the lice, which, by this point, will already be dead!
• Over the next week, wash your child’s hair with a shampoo containing essential oils that have repellent and antiseptic properties. For the final rinse, mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into 1 liter of water.
