Description of LCA Organic Essential Peppermint Oil

Hybrid of aquatic mint and spearmint, it is a perennial plant with a long and creeping rhizome. This perennial and herbaceous plant likes a cool, clay soil. Peppermint has a quadrangular stem 30 to 90 cm high, slightly tinged with purple red with oval leaves, acute and opposite of a beautiful green. Its purple flowers appear in ears tight and short on the top.

The essential oil of peppermint has many virtues such as:

Local analgesic +++ (menthol): anti-pain by "cold effect" thus acting against muscle pain, blows, neuralgia and headaches.

Tonic and stimulant +++ (menthol): hypertensive, it stimulates the heart muscle by its cardiotonic action. It is also neurotonic and thus improves alertness, concentration.

Antibacterial ++ (menthol): bactericidal effective against the following microorganisms: staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus responsible for lung diseases, coli bacteria responsible for digestive and urinary diseases.

Antiviral ++ (menthol) powerful antiviral. In particular, it destroys the viruses responsible for herpes.

Antifungal ++ (menthol): effective on fungi causing pulmonary infections, skin infections, and candidiasis (oropharynx, digestive tract, vaginal flora).

Antiparasitic ++ (menthol): intestinal antiparasitic which acts mainly against shigellosis, an acute gastroenteritis.

Main components:
- Menthol (30.00 to 57.00%)
- Menthone (11.00 to 36.00%)
- Isomenthone (1.00 to 10.00%)
- Neomenthol (≤ 8.00%)
- Cineol 1.8 (Eucalyptol) (2.00 to 8.00%)
- Menthyl acetate (2.00 to 8.00%)

100% pure chemotyped essential oil (free of other essential oils) 100% integral (not discolored, not deterpenated, not rectified ...) 100% natural (undenatured with synthetic molecules)

Precaution of use

- Irritant, and powerful cooling effect : dilute to 30% maximum for a cutaneous application.
- Never mint essential oil in bath.
- To proscribe in the pregnant woman, breastfeeding, the epileptic subjects, the old people and the children of less than 6 years.
- STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN INFANTS BEFORE 30 MONTHS (toxicity by local contact: laryngeal or nasal reflex may cause respiratory arrest).
- Amazing at high doses.
- No prolonged use without the advice of an aromatherapist.
- Avoid contact with the eyes, do not apply too close to the eyes.
- In diffusion, is used only diluted (15% max) in softer essential oils, and for a limited duration.

- Keep out of reach of children.
