This creates an environment that allows the scar to close with a normalized collagen synthesis and improves the physiological and aesthetic appearance of the scar.
Well tolerated, KELO-COTE gel reduces the redness of scars , softens and flattened raised scars , relieves the itching and pain associated with scars.
Kelo-grade, dries quickly to form a silicone film , this silicone gel film is gas permeable, flexible and water resistant.

Our expert advice in pharmacy for Kelo-cote gel
The keloid scars are inflammatory scars appearing as thick, hardened, blistered. This phenomenon is caused by an overproduction of collagen in the dermis during the repair of connective tissue, or fibrous scar tissue replaces normal skin tissue. This overproduction is accompanied by an excessive development of the cells of the dermis: the fibroblasts. This unsightly outgrowth of the dermis may occur as a result of skin trauma, an original wound, shingles, burns , folliculitis, skin diseases such as acne, scarification following a vaccine, or after incision or surgery . The keloid scar is sometimes painful and can cause itching and irritation.
