When should you use Hydravision for the eyelids and eyelashes?
Innoxa Hydravision Eye Area Wipes are single-use, pre-moistened wipes packaged in individual pouches. They are formulated with chamomile, aloe vera, and vitamin B3, combined with hyaluronic acid and eyebright water. They are designed for the delicate areas of the face —the eyelids and eyelashes—and are intended for the gentle cleansing of the eyelids and the eye contour area.
Their primary purpose isdaily hygiene of the eyelid margins. A single swipegently and thoroughly removes secretions, dust, pollen, and makeup that accumulate at the base of the eyelashes throughout the day or overnight. They cleanse and soothe the eyelids without rinsing.
These wipes are ideal for people who suffer from dry eyes, as deposits on the eyelid margins are more common in such cases. They are also suitable for eyelid hygiene in people prone to blepharitis, styes, or chalazions, for whom regular cleansing is part of their basic care routine.
Finally, they’re useful in specific situations: during pollen season, when the eyelids accumulate particles from being outdoors, or in the period surrounding eye surgery, to gently remove secretions. The individual packet fits easily into a bag or travel kit, making it convenient to use anywhere.
For eyes that feel tight, we recommend using these wipes in combination with Cooper Dacryo Artificial Tears for Dry Eyes. The two steps complement each other: the wipe removes buildup from the eyelid margins, while the hyaluronic acid and aloe vera eye drops directly lubricate the surface of the eye.
How do you use these eyelid wipes?
Instructions for Use
After washing your hands thoroughly, open the packet and gently wipe the eyelid area with the wipe to remove secretions and buildup. If secretions persist, warm the unopened packet for a few minutes in hot water (about 40°C) and use the wipe as a warm compress while gently massaging; if there is inflammation, chill the unopened packet for a few hours in the refrigerator and hold the wipe against the eyelid for a few minutes as a cold compress.

Our expert advice on Hydravision for your eyelids and eyelashes
The choice between hot and cold is what makes the biggest difference in the results. Heat loosens the oily secretions that stick to the edges of the eyelids and form crusts when you wake up: a warm compress, followed by a gentle massage, removes them without rubbing. Cold serves a different purpose—when the eyelid swells and itches, typically during pollen season. Many people press hard to clean more effectively: in fact, the opposite is true—applying too much pressure irritates skin that is among the thinnest on the body.
Eyelid hygiene is a long-term practice. Regular use is more effective than vigorous cleaning once in a while, and comfort builds up over the weeks. These wipes are not a substitute for treatment prescribed by your ophthalmologist: they are a complement to it, and their use often continues even after treatment is complete.
FAQ
Can I use Hydravision Periocular Wipes while wearing contact lenses?
Yes, these wipes are also suitable for contact lens wearers. They are applied to the closed eyelid and never come into contact with the lens; the simplest approach is to clean your eyelids before inserting your lenses or after removing them.
Can I use Hydravision Periocular Wipes every day?
Yes. Cleaning the eyelid margins is usually done in the morning and at night, using a new wipe each time.
Can I remove eye makeup with Hydravision Periocular Wipes?
They remove light makeup from the eyelids and eyelashes. Waterproof mascara or heavy makeup generally requires a suitable makeup remover first; the wipe is then used to finish cleaning the eyelid margins.
