Aviaire from Boiron Laboratories is a homeopathic medicine traditionally recommended for the treatment of various respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, tracheitis, ear infections, and nasopharyngitis.
Indications and Dosage for Aviaire
Aviaire is a homeopathic remedy derived from a culture of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolated from birds. This remedy is a crude tuberculin that undergoes a series of successive dilutions before it can finally be used in homeopathy. Thanks to its high therapeutic efficacy, Aviaire helps treat conditions affecting the ENT area as well as the respiratory tract.
Homeopathic medicines in globule doses can be used for a variety of symptoms; therefore, it is not possible to specify the indications and dosage for a specific preparation.
The homeopathic physician selects the appropriate remedy, dilution, and dosage based on the patient’s health condition and characteristic symptoms.
Indications for the homeopathic remedy Aviaire 9CH, 15CH in ENT
Aviaire helps prevent and treat nasopharyngitis as well as recurrent ear infections that worsen in cold weather. Generally, the affected individual experiences ear pain and ear discharge. Since this is an inflammation affecting the inner ear, the infection may in some cases spread to the Eustachian tube and the throat.

Boiron Aviaire 9CH and 15CH Homeopathic Remedies and Pregnancy
Homeopathic remedies have no chemical toxicity, no contraindications, no interactions with other medications, and no adverse effects related to the amount ingested. Pregnant women can use them without any known risk to themselves or their unborn child, but it is best to seek advice.
Frequency of Homeopathic Use
For acute conditions, it is recommended to take homeopathic remedies every hour until symptoms improve. Once symptoms improve, doses should be spaced out to 3 or 4 times a day, then gradually discontinued.
For chronic conditions, remedies in low dilutions (>9CH) are taken 1 to 2 times a day, while constitutional remedies are taken once a week or even once a month. This decision is up to the homeopath.
What to Do If There Is No Improvement Within 24 Hours
Certain conditions cannot be treated with Aviaire 9CH or 15CH Boiron homeopathic remedies through self-medication alone. Due to their severity, these conditions require medical advice, which can be provided by a homeopathic physician. This physician will determine whether your condition can be treated with homeopathy alone or if your treatment needs to be supplemented with allopathic medicine.
