Advice

Wet cough, what is it ?
A wet cough is a symptom that is manifested by expectoration of mucus or more or less thick sputum. Often associated with a bronchial infection, chronic bronchitis or smoking, wet cough is treated in different ways. Bronchial secretions are made up of 95% water and 5% solid matter, including mucus. Bronchial thinners, also called mucolytics, act on the constituents of mucus, restore its elasticity and viscosity and increase the movements of the bronchial cilia necessary for purification.
