The essential oil of cypress (Cupressus semperivens) has anti-inflammatory properties of veins and lymphatic vessels. It is healing, neurotonic, rebalancing the central nervous system, antitussive, mucolytic and bronchial antispasmodic. It is also an antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral which opposes the bacterial biofilm. In addition, it is anti-oxidant, immunostimulating, decongestant prostate, slightly emménagogue and regulatory sweat used in the secretions hyperacidity, and smelly excessive sweating and hot flushes through its monoterpene compounds.
It can be used as neurological regulatory action such excessive sweating; dilute the cypress essential oil to 5% vegetable oil in wheat germ. Apply to the solar plexus and along the spine.
Excessive sweating is not a hormonal problem as one might think, but to a neurological mechanism problem. The stress induction involves excessive hormone adrenaline.
