What is Phytosun Aroms Cypress Essential Oil used for?

Phytosun Aroms Cypress Essential Oil isorganically grown. Cypress essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties for veins and lymphatic vessels. It is healing, neurotonic and rebalances the central nervous system. It is an antitussive, mucolytic, bronchial antispasmodic, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and antioxidant essential oil. It is also an immunostimulant and prostate decongestant.

Precautions for use

Cypress de Provence essential oil is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, or young babies. This essential oil is not recommended in cases of hormone-dependent fibroids and mastosis.

  • Prior medical consultation: Before using Cypress de Provence essential oil, it is crucial to consult a health professional, particularly in cases ofasthma orepilepsy, due to the potential risk of an epileptogenic effect at high doses.
  • Dilution for cutaneous application: For application to the skin, it is necessary to dilute the essential oil to 20% (20% essential oil and 80% vegetable oil) to avoid irritation, due to its high terpene content.
  • Use by pregnant women Pregnant women may use this oil as a skin application, but must seek medical advice before doing so, and the oil must be properly diluted.
  • Limited duration of ingestion: This essential oil should only be ingested over a short period of time, under the supervision of a health professional, to avoid the risk of kidney toxicity. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended.
  • Atmospheric diffusion: Diffusion of Cypress de Provence essential oil is suitable for pregnant women and children over 8 years of age, offering a safe method of use for these groups.
  • Specific contraindications: Cypress de Provence essential oil is not recommended for people with a history of hormone-dependent cancers (breast, uterine, testicular), or in cases of mastosis or fibroids. It is also not recommended for individuals suffering from phlebitis or with contraindications to estrogen.
