Forcapil Fortifiant Expert is designed for weakened hair and nails. Its new formula combines two sulfur-containing amino acids—L-cystine (300 mg) and L-methionine (107 mg)—along with zinc, vitamin D3, and all eight B vitamins, including 450 µg of biotin. Each B vitamin provides at least 100% of the Reference Nutrient Intakes when taking two capsules per day.
For hair, biotin is the key active ingredient in the formula: biotin helps maintain normal hair, a role it shares with zinc. Vitamin B6 rounds out this trio, as it contributes to the normal synthesis of cysteine, the sulfur-containing amino acid that is a component of keratin, the protein in hair.
Nails benefit from the same nutrients. For nails that split or break at the slightest impact, zinc is the nutrient in the formula that directly addresses this issue: zinc helps maintain normal nails. The two morning capsules therefore benefit both the hair and the hands.
The end of summer—with its sun, salt, and chlorine—followed by winter and its frequent hair washing, puts the hair shaft through a tough time. It’s also often a time when we feel less energetic: the riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, folate, and vitamin B12 in the formula help reduce fatigue.

Before taking your first capsule, the precaution to keep in mind isn’t what you might expect: it’s biotin and blood tests. At the formula’s dosage, we’re nowhere near the 10,000 µg biotin supplements sold for hair, but it’s enough to skew certain results if no one points it out. Another common misconception we often hear is that adding a high-dose biotin supplement on top of the treatment will speed up results. This isn’t the case; your needs are already more than covered by the two capsules.
If your nails remain brittle despite following the treatment plan properly, look into what’s causing the wear and tear rather than doubling the capsules: washing dishes and cleaning without gloves, using acetone nail polish remover, or applying nail polish without a base coat. When it comes to your diet, a regular intake of protein and iron is just as important as vitamins. If your diet is too restrictive or you’re experiencing persistent fatigue, you should talk to your doctor.
How long will it take to see results with Forcapil Fortifiant Expert?
Hair grows about one centimeter per month, and it takes several months for a fingernail to completely regrow. A treatment course should therefore last at least three months: before this time has elapsed, the visible part of the hair or nail is the portion that grew before the treatment began.
