When should you choose the RoC Duo Retinol Set?

The RoC Duo Retinol set combines two retinol treatments: the DERM CORREXION FIRM + SCULPT lifting serum stick, for the face, neck, and backs of the hands, and the RETINOL CORREXION wrinkle-smoothing eye treatment, for the eye area. It’s designed for mature skin and complements our anti-aging serums, sharing their targeted skincare approach.

The serum stick combines retinol with THPE (tetrahydroxypropyl ethylenediamine) and cranberry extract. It is a lifting serum stick that visibly firms the skin: after 8 weeks, 94% of participants had firmer skin (instrumental measurements, 32 participants). Its massaging rollerball allows for application without touching the skin with your fingers.

The eye treatment combines retinol with hyaluronic acid and minerals (magnesium, zinc, copper). It smooths wrinkles: following a 12-week clinical study on 27 participants, an assessment of eye wrinkles showed a visible 50% reduction.

The stick is recommended for those aged 45 and older, on areas showing signs of sagging. Using both products together allows you to care for your face and eye area with the same family of active ingredients, while gradually introducing retinol.

Directions for Use

Serum stick: Twist the stick upward to remove the cap, then apply morning and/or evening to areas affected by sagging (face, neck, backs of hands). Eye treatment: Apply small dots around the eyes, morning and evening, and gently massage until fully absorbed.

Precautions

• Contains vitamin A. Be mindful of your daily intake before use.
• Start with one product and apply it every other day for the first two weeks before gradually increasing the frequency.
• When first using retinol, mild skin irritation may occur.

Our expert advice on the RoC Retinol Duo Set

With retinol, the golden rule is to build up gradually: it’s tempting to use both products every day as soon as you open the set, but that’s the surest way to irritate your skin. We recommend starting with just one of the two products, preferably in the evening, and avoiding combining it with another retinol product or an acid exfoliant during the first few weeks.

If redness or a tight feeling persists beyond a few days, space out your applications rather than continuing to use the product.
